Fear and Loathing of Latex

Mylar balloons are my friend. Sure, they may be a bit pricey up front, but the good ones are like your dream man (they stay up for a really long time). But the thing I like the best about them is they don’t pop!
Sure, your standard party balloon comes in many different sizes and colors, and is mostly made of latex tapped from rubber trees … hmmm, thinking of that man again. Anyway, they can last anywhere from minutes to days, but eventually they … POP!
Think five years old, asleep on a cold winter’s night, safe under the blankets, and suddenly you hear “POP!”. Of course you are frightened, positive the boogey man is under your bed (which you’ve just wet). I’m just saying, those rubber balloons are EVIL!
